Here at Lesley Anderson Law, championing home-grown talent is something in which we take great pride. That is why, when we decided to expand our team this year, we didn’t stray far from home. With the business growing fast, Lesley wanted to bring another innovative, hard-working, and dedicated mind into the team to further support business goals, clients, and the current LA Law team.

Over the past couple of years, the LA Law team have been lucky enough to welcome now First-class Honours Law Graduate, Denny local Rachel Ferguson on various placements while she completed her degree and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at The University of Strathclyde.

During her placements at the practice, Rachel was able to shadow Lesley and the team while completing various modules such as Family Law and was given the opportunity from Lesley to broaden her legal experience by shadowing a Criminal Defence Solicitor at a separate firm. During Rachel’s experience at LA Law, Rachel was able to see first-hand the dedicated service we provide to our clients.

The team at LA Law were extremely impressed by Rachel’s proactive, hands-on approach to her role at the practice, and therefore it made our decision extremely easy to offer Rachel a traineeship with our firm. Throughout Rachel’s traineeship, she will work closely with Lesley as her mentor, learning all there is to know about legal practice, court craft, family and child law.

After announcing our newest recruit, last month the Falkirk Herald kindly featured an article about Lesley Anderson Law’s expansion and introduced Rachel as part of the team. We were extremely pleased to be able to celebrate our newest recruit and expansion of LA Law while supporting another local business.
