Christina Donnelly - LLB, (HONS) PGDip, LLM

Legal Secretary and Receptionist

I planned on being a geographer, but after sitting through a Law talk at a university open day, I fell in love.  I followed my dream to the University of Stirling and graduated with a 2:1 LLB Law in 2015. I then went on to gain my Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Strathclyde.  Following this, I returned to Stirling to gain a Master of Laws in International Energy Law and Policy with distinction.  I enjoyed this path and decided to pursue a traineeship in energy and infrastructure law. Though I loved the academics and study of energy law, the practice was not the right fit for me. I took a step back to reassess and broaden my experience. I spent some time travelling and working in various other sectors, but always knew I would return to the legal sector – but only for the right fit.

In October of 2023 I joined the team at Lesley Anderson Law. The timing was right for me, and the encouragement and support I have had from the team since joining has helped reaffirm my love of the Law.  I am grateful for this opportunity, and I am excited to see where the firm could take me in the future.

Stephanie Moroie – BA (HONS), LLB

Office Assistant and Future Trainee Solicitor

A University of Toronto graduate with a First Class Bachelor of Honours in Socio-Legal Studies, where I took a particular interest in family and child law issues from a sociological perspective. In my final year, I focused my research on gender-based violence and the law. I then attended the University of Glasgow where I obtained an LLB in Scots Law with distinction, graduating in 2022 and am currently undertaking the Diploma in Legal Practice.

I have been naturally drawn towards family law during my studies and volunteer work, and I am looking forward to delving into the advanced civil litigation, private client, and family law modules in my upcoming second semester.

I joined the Lesley Anderson Law team as an office assistant in November 2023, to develop my legal career, keen on acquiring further knowledge and skill in the practical aspect of my legal studies, continuing my passion for family and child law. I will be taking up a traineeship with the firm in 2024.

In my spare time I enjoy travelling, skiing and practising yoga.

Chloe Gammie

Office Assistant

Chloe is an Honours Student at the University of Strathclyde studying an LLB Scots Law, aiming to graduate with her law degree in 2024.

Alongside her studies, she works part-time as a Senior Waitress. She began her journey with Lesley Anderson Law as an office assistant in October 2023.

She maintains her passion for family law and civil litigation, hence welcoming the job opportunity at this firm. She believes it’s important for students to gain some practical experience and insight into the world of law, as it is invaluable to understanding of the justice system and representing members of the public. Her goal is to become a Trainee Solicitor in the near future, following completion of the Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 2024/25.
